Why is that whenever I see authority figures, such as police officers, I immediately think "Oh crap, what did I do?"

Someone is eating Clam Chowder for lunch and it reminds me of the holidays back home. I hate seafood though.

I am the same way about authority figures... If my manager calls me and asks me to come by her desk, I immediately feel a sense of panic.

im the same. Cops make me nervous even when I know I havent done anything.

You know once in a smartalecky moment I put my hands up in the air as the cops walked into a place I worked...Turns out they were there to pick me up.

I don't joke when I see cops coming anymore.

Whenever there's a police car close to my home, I am always wary, wondering if they come for me, what I might have done, or whatever; (so unlogical!)

I simply can't explain it eitheir.

I don't understand because I always had good relationships with them in the past.
