My hometown
Apr. 19th, 2005 03:55 amSpring is here and summer is close behind. I can't wait to get out and start planting flowers. I am hoping to get a chance to go back home this summer to do a little camping with my family. I was just reminiscing about living there. Call me crazy, but sometimes I miss T Bay. It's a one of a kind city.
We used to live in County Park. Our house was very close to the mall. The liquor store was practically in our backyard. One day my husband and I were walking to the mall to get some groceries from Quality Market. We made it up the parking lot to Canadian Tire where we were approached by 2 guys with backpacks on...
Guy: (*looking at my husband*) Hey, hey. Wanna buy some meat?
Hubby: No thank you.
Guy: (*looking at me*) Wanna buy some meat?
Me: (*trying not to look directly at him*) No.
Buy some meat? This could have meant several things, and we couldn't stop laughing about it for days. For the record, it wasn't Pete Loski. ^_-
