Shortbread Anyone?
Apr. 26th, 2005 08:39 pmI promised to post a couple recipes for shortbread tonight, so here goes!
The first one I will list is my favourite shortbread that I've ever made. You press it into a normal baking pan and then cut it into squares while it is still warm. It's been about 2 years since I made this one (because I got a cookie press), but from what I remember these cookies keep their shape very well. The reason I bought this pan is because those cookie press shortbread cookies don't come out as good. The dough has to be a little thinner in order to squeeze out of the tube, and it loses something in the taste.
