minxybabyThe news reports: "This is a landmark day for Canadian women, who now have immediate access to Plan B, a safe and effective morning-after pill that has been used by millions of women in more than 100 countries around the world to prevent unintended pregnancy,'' CEO Jonathan Ross Goodman said Wednesday in a release.
Women will be able to pick up the morning-after pill (levonorgestrel) without a perscription. She will not have to visit her doctor first, but the pharmacist will consult her. The pills will be sold behind the counter in the drug store.
