My sleep is messed up now :S I thought I was home free when I fell asleep at 10:00pm. I slept for a solid hour and then was getting jittery so I had to get outta bed. I just finished getting my mom's sourdough starter recipe going. And I just did a whole lotta dishes... mostly cups. See, we ran out of milk a few days ago and hubby didn't want to go get groceries with me. After work the next day I stopped and grabbed a 4L bag of milk. When I got home, my husband laughed and showed me the 4L bag he just bought. We don't go through that much milk, but hubby has been on a milk drinking marathon. LOL He killed a 4L bag of it himself in 2 days.

I was thinking of cleaning the bathroom (because I can do it quietly), but I am starting to feel tired again. Hopefully I will be able to get my sleep back to normal tomorrow.

I miss bagged milk. :) I miss the ability to freeze bags of milk to keep it longer (especially when on sale). I miss being able to recycle/reuse the bags for freezing muffins and breads in after baking.
I miss home again.

As for your sleep pattern, I wish I knew how to help you but I've never been on a mids shift ever.

My mom keeps the bags for freezing ground beef 1lb at a time.

Heh, I thought for sure I would sleep in today, but I got up at 7:30am. At least this gives me time to do some chores, rather than sleeping all day.

And getting up at that "regular" time allows your body to get on a small schedule so hopefully by 10 or 11 tonight you'll be sleepy. Hopefully being the operative word ... :)

I think the reason I shy away from cooking and baking and stuff is the clean up. Heck, I have a sink full of dishes that have been steadily piling up for the past week or so and I'm dreading doing them (even though I know it'll only take me about ten minutes). Man, I miss having a dishwasher...

Ya, I don't like the clean-up after cooking either. I try to do dishes at the same time that I cook, so we just have to load our plates into the dishwasher. Even with the dishwasher I still have so many items I have to wash by hand, like my cast iron frying pan. And all those plastic cups I had to wash by hand because the dishwasher always does a bad job them.

i'm lactose intolerant...so it would go bad before it was done. i just don't know how he does it. isn't milk full of fat?

Ya it is. We buy skim milk though, which is fat free. We have been drinking 0% for several years now. The taste of 2% is gross to me. It's like drinking thick cream.

that's what he drinks...but when i eat my cereal i hate soy with it and anything but 2%. so that's what he drinks. skim milk to me tastes too watered down.

Ya, I think milk is funny like that. You get used to what you are drinking and anything else is kinda gross. You get used to it, if you do change, but it takes a while.
